Cancelling Your Order

If at any time within 7 working days of our sending an e-mail to you accepting an order, you decide that you would like to cancel or return your order then you have the right to do so by following the procedures set out below:

Non-personalised products

You must inform us in writing or by e-mail. We must receive your written notice withdrawing your order within the 7 day period referred to above. If you do withdraw your order, you must return to us any products delivered to you by us under the withdrawn order, and we will repay any amounts paid by you to us in respect of that order (except postage and packing costs) within 30 days. You must pay the costs of returning any products to us.

Personalised products

If you wish to cancel an order for personalised products, you must inform us immediately to enable us to stop the personalisation process. We will then take all the necessary steps to minimise any financial liability on your part, but must emphasise that, once the personalisation process has started, you will be liable to pay in full for any part of your order which has been personalised prior to your cancellation, and any reasonable administrative or delivery costs incurred by us as a result of your cancellation.

If your order has already been despatched when we receive your cancellation, you will have to return the goods to us and you will be liable for return shipping costs. For more information about returning your order, see returning goods.

Making a complaint

Your complaint will be handled by Corrina Deane (Managing Director) or Cheryl Bicker (Company Secretary). Should you make a complaint about any aspect of our business, we promise you the following:

We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days (i.e. Monday to Friday)
At that time, we will advise you of the likely time-scale to resolve your complaint
You will be kept informed about the progress of your complaint
Should we need to modify our procedures or policies on discovering a problem, we will endeavour to do so.
We will follow up any such changes that we have made to our procedures, to ensure they are working and have indeed resolved the issue.

You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, licence, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information obtained from this web site. You are only permitted to access and view the web site and print a hard copy of your completed order form as a record of your transaction with us.

Paying Tax

VAT (Value Added Tax) is charged on most goods within the European Union. Our products are charged at 17.5% VAT in the United Kingdom, this is included in the prices quoted on the web site.

All orders for delivery within the European Union will be treated in the same way as those in the UK.

British forces Overseas (BFPO's)

H.M Customs & Excise now require that we have proof of eligibility for exemption of VAT prior to any refund. This confirmation must now be sent to us either by mail or fax on an official Service letterhead, signed by the individual's Commanding Officer. We will refund VAT straight away following receipt of the correct supportive documentation.

Personalisation

To save you both time and effort, many of our cards can be personalised. This is clearly stated in the card's description to help you make the right selection.

Plus, it's simple to do; at the checkout, select the card you want printed, type in your message, choosing from 5 fonts andf 5 colours. You can then have it delivered to your own address with the rest of your order, or direct to the recipient by providing us with their address details - easy! It's great value too, as we will undertake all this for the tiny cost of 50 pence per card!

Postage and Packaging Costs

Please note at this time welovecards.co.uk only accept orders from countries inside the European Union.

Postage and packing costs are calculated using one or a combination of the following factors:


The type of postage chosen i.e. first class, second class
The weight of the order
If any fragile items are included i.e. picture frames
How many addresses items are posted to
The country of addressee/s

Main delivery charges are detailed at the checkout, after you have given us your delivery information. You will be given a breakdown of your order, including any postage and packing costs before being asked to confirm. Confirmation by you of the order is taken as acceptance of these charges.

The rates listed below are based on royal mails costs as stated on August 2005 and are therefore subject to change if the postal rates are increased.

All orders are sent using Royal Mail’s air service and will be charged postage and packing according to its weight and destination. Below is the cost of sending cards only to one address.

At We love cards limited, we are committed to protecting your privacy. We only use the information you have provided to process your orders and to provide an efficient service.

When you register, we request your name, address (with full postal code), e-mail address, telephone number; this is stored on a very secure site and is only kept to make your life easier upon return visits. We will offer you the choice to either opt in or out of us using this information to contact you about important changes to the web site, new services, and special offers that we think you will find valuable.

When you place an order you will be redirected to our checkout provider � Paypal, this information is not saved or stored other than to process your order efficiently and to notify you immediately, should any problems arise. We love cards limited does not have access to your payment details as you are dealing purely with Paypal at this point of the checkout process.

Your choice of cards and comments also enable us to maintain an up-to-date web site, which reflects our customers' preferences. We monitor customer traffic and shopping patterns to help us to continually develop our products and web site to tailor it to suit your own needs.

Returning Goods

We are confident that you will be completely satisfied with your order. However if you are not, contact us within 7 working days of receiving your e-mail accepting the order, either by e-mail, telephone or fax and you may return the goods to us. We shall issue you with a returns code and ask for a brief explanation of why you were not satisfied.

Non-personalised Products

We will issue a full refund for the price of any item returned to us in its original condition. Unfortunately we can only refund delivery charges if the return is the result of our error.

Personalised Products

We will issue a full refund for any returned personalised cards if the cards delivered do not conform to the instructions and criteria that you gave in your order or subsequent instructions.

Security

Research suggests that security is one of the biggest single influencing factors as to why people do not shop on the internet. It is understandable; to a large extent many companies - including or own - are unknown. This is one of the reasons for our policy of openness. We are more than happy to share all of our company details with you, and moreover actively encourage feedback, be it good, bad or indifferent. We are also happy to share with you the following security policies - both online and offline.

Online security

Rather than handle your credit/debit card details through our system, we take online payments using the secure payment service provided by Paypal. Paypal are dedicated providers of online card security. Once again when the link is established between your browser and Paypal's servers (this occurs when you are transferred initially from our site to Paypal), all communication, including your card details, is encrypted. Paypal's secure servers use Thawte 2048 bit encryption systems and welovecards.co.uk uses 128 bit SSL.

When your card is accepted, Paypal's server sends a confirmation to our site. We therefore never access your credit/debit card details. It is impossible for anyone to capture your card details from our site as they are never stored on or transferred through our server.

Off-line security

Security on the internet tends to focus on online issues. However as described above, offline security is something we take very seriously at welovecards.co.uk. We can categorically state that none of our customer's card details will be stored. They are only used by Paypal to process the order.
