Wedding horseshoes are are traditional gifts to be given to the bride on or just before her wedding day. The origins of the horseshoe as a good luck charm, and therefore the giving of a wedding horseshoe as a symbol of good luck for the future of the marriage goes back centuries into mythology. This mini brass horseshoe is presented in a white satin lined little white gift box with a hinged lid. The lid opens up to reveal the brass hosreshow with 'Good luck' on and a saying on the inside of the lid which reads
'To have and to hold
from this day forward
for better, for worse,
for richer, for poorer.'
The horseshoes measure 4cm across and 4cm in height.
